Kicking off 2025 with more integrations and deeper data connections for Qualio customers

The data shows that quality managers are stretched thin and expected to do more with less.

Qualio’s latest customer survey of over 100 life science companies revealed that the majority of respondents were responsible for compliance with 3-5 regulatory standards, and faced between 1 and 5 external audits every year.

Their key challenges included:

• Operational efficiency and workforce constraints

These challenges are multiplied across the product lifecycle, with quality assurance serving as the connective tissue that ensures compliance at all stages while working across different teams and processes with disparate tools.

Qualio’s final product upgrade of 2024 launched a raft of new integrations and data management possibilities to our customers. We’re kicking off 2025 by building on this momentum, expanding both our Resource Library and the systems we integrate with to make our eQMS software more powerful than ever before.

Our last launch train introduced an integrated resource traceability view for event form fields.

We’ve taken things further by visualizing the linked relationships, including smartlinks, for all your data points in Qualio, giving you a traceable and audit-ready web of connected information.

• Create flexible linkages between data points at the resource level, such as linking a piece of equipment to the supplier who provided it or the department using it

• Surface a centralized view of chronological quality info for resources like products, suppliers, sites, batches or equipment, including the documents and events connected to each of them. View all of a product’s quality records, for instance, or trace the full chain of activities related to one of your suppliers.

• Explore connected records and information across Qualio in seconds, with new global search functionality to find the insights you need

• Immediately understand the impact of quality events, such as CAPAs, across the documents and processes they touch

New metadata options for an even deeper source of quality truth

Quality users will now be able to define custom fields for each of their resource library categories, beyond the default ID, name and description.

Add items like lot number, manufacturing date or expiry date, unlocking applications for production and manufacturing data.

Plus, we’re rolling out a new mapping tool to let you populate system metadata directly from imports and integrations - saving you hours of manual data entry and duplication!

We’ve connected GitHub to Qualio, allowing you to absorb releases and labels straight from your software developing tool into your eQMS.

Data pulled from GitHub can be loaded instantly into a Qualio event, kickstarting the appropriate workflow and notifying assigned personnel.
